WEARE, N.H. — A massive three-alarm fire tore through Granite State Recycling early Friday morning, blanketing nearby towns in smoke and drawing firefighters from across the region. Crews battled flames fueled by piles of tires, cardboard, and appliances for hours, as residents from Goffstown to Manchester reported the acrid odor drifting on the wind.
